Dr. Tae Won Kim is Professor of the Department of Oncology with over 25 years of experience as a practicing medical oncologist and is Director of Clinical Research Center and Center for Perosnalized Cancer Medicine in Asan Medical Center Cancer Institute, University of Ulsan College of Medicine, Seoul, Korea.
Dr. Kim received his undergraduate and medical degrees from Seoul National University where he later completed internship. Then he completed residency and fellowship in Asan Medical Center Cancer Institute, University of Ulsan College of Medicine, where he received the Master’s and PhD degrees. Postdoctoral fellowship was completed at the Department of Hematology/Oncology in University of Chicago, USA. Dr. Kim is a board certified medical oncologist, with sub-specialty in Hematology-Oncology in Korea.
Publications include over 200 published articles in peer-reviewed journals, editorials and invited articles. He is the Chair of Korea for ESMO Asia CME Partner Center in Colorectal Cancer Program and was the Secretary General of Asia Clinical Oncology Society in 2011.
