I am a clinical practitioner on Gynecologic Oncology with a PhD in medical science. I have extensive experience in design and conducting clinical and translational research. One of my duties now is to lead the Research Department at the National Cancer Institute-Mexico, focus on integrating basic science and clinical research. I have much experience in collaborative research projects with different local and international institutions.

From 2012 to December 2021, I took part in the local research committee of which I was President from 2019 to 2021, evaluating the methodologic and technical part of more than 100 scientific projects per year submitted to obtain the authorization to perform.

My vision is to contribute to the best opportunities for the oncologic patients for diagnostic and treatments, in the clinical and research areas, and help with the trainee of young medical doctors involving in residency programs.

Contributions to Science:
I have more than 100 scientific articles published in indexed journals; these articles cover oncology topics ranging from retrospective analysis to controlled clinical trials and genomic studies. In 2015, we obtained a patient for the National Cancer Institute of Mexico about Transcript profiling that distinguishes complete treatment responders with local advanced cervical cancer.
