Don S. Dizon is the Service Line Chief of Hematology-Oncology at Tufts Medicine and is the Jane F. Desforges Endowed Chair in Hematology and Oncology and Professor of medicine at Tufts University. He is a medical oncologist specializing in breast and pelvic malignancies, survivorship particularly as it pertains to sexual health for men and women with cancer, patient engagement, and social media. He grew up on the Pacific Island of Guam, and completed undergraduate and medical school at the University of Rochester in New York. He trained in Internal Medicine at Yale New-Haven Hospital and completed a fellowship in Medical Oncology at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in NYC. He is the 2025 recipient of the Excellence in Equity Award from the American Society of Clinical Oncology. In addition to his academic appointments, he is the Inaugural Vice Chair of Membership and Accrual for SWOG Oncology Research Network and is currently the Editor-In-Chief at CA: A Cancer Journal for Clinicians, the flagship journal of the American Cancer Society.
