Dr. Gaddipati is an oncologist, geneticist and entrepreneur based in San Diego, CA. After graduating from medical school in India she pursued her post-graduate training in the United States. She completed Internal Medicine residency followed by fellowships in Genetics and Molecular Biology from the University of Pennsylvania and Hematology/Oncology from University Hospitals/Case Western Reserve. She served as a visiting scientist at the Wistar Research Institute. She was subsequently trained as an Interagency Taskforce Oncology Product Development Fellow at the National Cancer Institute, Bethesda and The Food and Drug Administration (FDA). At the National Cancer Institute, She served as an analyst for the Federal Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR Program). She completed a certificate program in Technology Transfer from the NCI and a hybrid master’s program in business and tech management from the Wharton School and UPenn School of Engineering.

She’s passionate about bridging the gaps along the oncology product development lifecycle and enabling greater access to novel cancer solutions for patients in developing countries. Over the past decade she has dedicated her time towards initiatives which support this mission and has allocated her time accordingly between the United States and India.  Vyas Cancer Research Private Limited and the Translational Research Oncology Council (TRON) were established to enable this core mission of bridging the divide in access and affordability to next-generation cancer solutions between Western markets and India.
