Mutlu Demiray is a Professor of Medical Oncology and currently leads the Precision Oncology Center at Medicana Health Group in Istanbul, Turkiye. He received his medical degree from Akdeniz University in 1995 and completed his residency in Internal Medicine and fellowship in Medical Oncology at Uludağ University, achieving the rank of Professor in 2014.
Dr. Demiray’s clinical practice and research are deeply rooted in precision oncology, with a specific focus on Comprehensive Genomic Profiling (CGP) and Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS). He specializes in the management of advanced-stage and refractory solid tumors by identifying actionable molecular targets and implementing individualized treatment algorithms. His work emphasizes the integration of molecular tumor boards into daily practice to translate complex genomic data into clinical decision-making.
Throughout his career, Dr. Demiray has focused on overcoming therapeutic resistance through molecularly targeted therapies. He has contributed to the field with publications detailing the clinical implementation of precision oncology approaches and the utility of genomic profiling in guiding treatment strategies.
