Satoru Aoyama is a medical professional and researcher with extensive expertise in personalized oncology and immunotherapy. After completing his Master’s degree in Medical Sciences at Tohoku University, Sendai, Japan, he obtained his medical degree at Kanazawa University , Ishikawa, Japan. He started his residency at Tokyo Medical and Dental University (TMDU) hospital, Tokyo, Japan, and Yokosuka Kyosai Hospital, Kanagawa, Japan , subsequently working in the Department of Hematology at TMDU.

He earned his Ph.D. through pioneering research in development of novel Chimeric Antigen Receptor (CAR)-T cell therapy. Currently, he focuses on comprehensive genomic profiling (CGP) tests and personalized medicine for solid tumors, alongside advancing new cell-based immunotherapies targeting various cancers. He is a board-certified Hematologist with the Japanese Society of Hematology.
