VHIO is a leading comprehensive cancer center of excellence where its scientists and physicians adopt a purely translational research model, working together as multidisciplinary teams to both accelerate and advance personalized and targeted therapies against cancer.

VHIO is a center of biomedical research with scientists and physicians working together at the nexus of basic science and clinical research. Our main purpose is to promote and develop research excellence relating to oncological diseases. VHIO also pursues to make contributions to the development of new and better therapies for the treatment of cancer.
