Ben-Gurion's Bioinformatics Core Facility focuses on high-level computational and statistical analysis of large, complex data
Ben-Gurion University of the Negev aspires to be among the best inter-disciplinary research universities in the world, a leader in scientific innovation, inter-disciplinary research and applied sciences – all of which impact daily life. It is committed to social and environmental responsibility and is working to develop the Negev, Israel and the world.

Ben Gurion's NIBN Bioinformatics Core Facility was established to help university biologists bridge gaps and advance their research efforts through the use of bioinformatics. Biological sciences are undergoing a transformation in which extremely large datasets are being experimentally generated, analyzed and integrated for a wide variety of uses. The Bioinformatics Core Facility focuses on high-level computational and statistical analysis of large, complex data sets, using cutting edge commercial and open-source software for analyzing data, either as a paid service or through collaborative grants, performing both statistical analysis and biological interpretation hand-in-hand with the experimentalist.
